Hey dolls! So it’s been a while. Football is officially back and we are 3 weeks in! I’ve been wanting to do a post for the last two weeks; but honestly, nonconference games, for the most part, have been a bore! There have been a couple of good games (like the TCU, Ohio State game, where the frogs fell apart the entire second half); but starting this week, the real games start, and the disdain for the rest of your conference begins.

This week, I will be traveling to Austin; not only for my birthday, but to watch the Frogs beat up on the Longhorns. I usually call UT “the traitor,” or another name not suitable for L&L. So with conference play starting, I thought this is the perfect time to start a new series: Touchdown Tuesdays! Every Tuesday, I will give y’all some insight on College Football and what the heck is actually going on.

To start this week off I am going to be re-posting my Guide to Gameday; in case you need a little refresher. (more…)

Hello dolls! I am back in the Fort, and ready to be home for an ENTIRE month!! Last week before I left for Orlando, Marshall and I had a little date night to the Hot Box Biscuit Club (where this pic was taken). And y’all it was SO GOOD!! June’s popup sold out today, but I will for sure be looking for that July email! One perk of being home, is getting to go to fun little events like this. So I am glad to be back for a while. (more…)

Fun fact about me: golf is actually my favorite sport. I know some people think it’s “boring” to watch, but I LOVE it! Today, I kicked off Memorial Day a little early, and went out to The Fort Worth Invitational A.K.A. the Colonial. We got to see all the ‘frat’ stars today, like Rickie Fowler, Smylie Kaufman, and Jordan Spieth. Honestly, I love them and think they are all great. If you didn’t see their Bakers Bay Spring Break videos, look them up, they’re wonderful! So, with all of the golf going on in FW this weekend, I decided to do a little golf for dummies today. Hello dolls! Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve been on here. I’m majorly slacking! The last couple of weeks, I have been all over the place: from North Carolina, to Massachusetts, and back to Texas for a week. Then this Saturday, I’m headed to Harry Potter World/ Disney World!

While I’m on these little excursions, I always look for the best dessert destinations, and North Carolina didn’t disappoint! My mom and I found this old school Dairy Queen that serves ice cream only. It has been there for over 100 years! How cute is it?!

Happy Thursday dolls! Sorry I have been so MIA this week, I have had a lot going on. Tragedy struck our small town of Mont Belvieu, and made us all realize to never take life for granted. You truly never know the next time you might see your loved ones. Hug your family extra tight, and say your prayers every night. Since everything has been happening, my mom made one thing clear: she doesn’t need fancy gifts or flowers for Mother’s Day, she just wants to be with her family.  (more…)
