It’s March Madness y’all! I know I haven’t done sports post in a while so I figured this was the PERFECT time!
The whole time I was taking these pictures Marshall kept saying “Yaas Carol channel your inner Little Dribbler!!”. Some of you might know this, but when I was 11 or 12, I was a Little Dribblers National Champion. Holla at your girl! With that said, basketball has always held a special place in my heart; not only because I am champ (hahahaha), but because my DaDi (mom’s dad) went to UNC for his PhD, and is a HUGE basketball fan. My family has always cheered on the Tar Heels. They are OUR basketball team, but in the past two years, we have had two great teams to cheer for: the UNC Tar Heels, and the TCU Horned Frogs.
This is the first time in 25 years the Frogs have made it to the big dance, and I couldn’t be more excited. No really y’all, on Sunday when during the selection show I cried when it was officially announced. I’m a crazy person, but I was just so excited. I am in a wedding this weekend, or my mom and I would be on our way to Detroit to watch them shine! So fingers crossed the frogs get the W so we can watch them in the second round.
